Sisneros Hearing for October 22

Mykel Sisneros is now facing murder charges relating to the death of Rudy Ray Munez. Sisneros last appeared in Prowers County District Court in late September for a hearing.  The 21 year old Lamar resident was first charged with second degree assault against Munez who was discovered beaten, in an alleyway in the 100 block of North First Street in Lamar.

A Lamar Police investigation into the incident brought second degree assault arrest charges against Sisneros, but Munez died, allegedly as a result of that beating fours day after he was hospitalized in Pueblo. Sisneros has now been charged with one count of second degree murder and two counts of second degree assault.  He is still being held at the Prowers County Jail.  Sisneros will appear in court for further proceedings tomorrow, October 22.
