Jess Franco…August 30, 1915 – October 21, 2014

A Funeral Liturgy for longtime Lamar resident, Jess Franco will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Reverend Charlie Sena reciting.

Per Jess’ request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.

Jess was born on August 30, 1916 at Winslow, Arizona to Joseph and Paula (Gurule) Franco and passed away on October 21, 2014 at Lamar Estates with his family by his side at the age of 98.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Connie Franco and four siblings.

Jess is survived by his wife; Eleanor Franco of the family home in  Lamar, seven children; Joe (Victoria) Franco of Aurora, CO, Mary Ann (Grant) Perry of Oklahoma City, OK, Irene (Jim) Frey of Yardley, PA, Linda (George) Vallejos, Elizabeth Herndon all of Lamar and Mike (Mary Lynn) Franco of Eerie, CO. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock family.
