Media Release: 2014 General Election

Ballots will start arriving in mailboxes October 14-17, 2014, for the 2014 General Election on November 4th.

Mail ballots will be sent to all eligible voters to the address listed on their voter registration record.  After voting you can choose how to return the ballot; by dropping it off at a ballot box at your County Clerk & Recorder’s Office or by returning it in the mail. Correct postage is required for delivery. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m., on Election Day to be counted and postmark dates do not count as received.

Prowers County will also offer voter services at Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC). Voters may visit our VSPC to update your address, request or replace a ballot, or to register to vote (through Election Day).

Your ballot drop-off and VSPC location, hours and other information are: Prowers County Clerk’s Office, 301 S. Main St., Ste. 210, Lamar, CO. Hours of operation are October 20th – November 3, 2014, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays, October 25th and November 1st, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

To register to vote online, update your address or verify your voter registration information, visit www.GoVoteColorado.com. You can view an electronic copy of the Election Blue Books on the Prowers County Website at: www.prowerscounty.net , listed under the Clerk & Recorder’s Department.
