Pre-Conference Training Sessions for Rural Philanthropy Days –Held for Southeast Colorado
Less than a month prior to this year’s Southeast Colorado Rural Philanthropy Days event held in Trinidad, September 24-26, the Community Resource Center and Anschutz Family Foundation are providing critical pre-conference training sessions across the region. The training sessions are geared to help local organizations and agencies understand how to position their nonprofit to compete with Front Range entities, how to use Rural Philanthropy Days to their best advantage, and how to increase their capacity to compete for grants. These trainings are included with each participant’s Rural Philanthropy Days registration fee and are certain to maximize each organization’s exposure to the right funders at the Southeast Rural Philanthropy Days event.
The training workshops are three hours each and are designed to engage both veteran fundraisers and newcomers to the nonprofit world. Those in attendance should prepare to be inspired and make the most of this year’s Rural Philanthropy Days experience. Registration for the pre-conference trainings is included as a part of the participant’s conference registration fee. To register for the September 24-26 conference, please visit www.southeastrpd.org/register-now. Pre-Conference trainings are required for first-time RPD attendees.

Southeast RPD is a three-day conference where nonprofit professionals, public agencies, elected officials, business leaders and funders learn from one another and collaborate on projects and funding opportunities. Networking opportunities encourage relationships that lead to mutual understanding, successful grant proposals, and more resources for rural Colorado. The conference is designed, organized, funded and planned by community volunteers from the Southeast region of Colorado. Residents from the eight county region are invited to attend. Registration is NOW OPEN. For more information about the RPD conference on September 24-26, visit www.southeastrpd.org.
