Visitation for Don Carlos Bourne will be held at Horber Funeral Chapel in Las Animas on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 1:00-5:00 p.m.  A private inurnment will take place at Fort Lyon National Cemetery.

Don Carlos Bourne was born in Bloom, Colorado to Darius and Veda Bourne. He died unexpectedly at his home on July 10, 2014 at the age of 88.

Don is survived by his wife, Florence; two sons, Charles and wife, Sylvia Bourne of Pueblo West, CO, and Larry Bourne and Linda Dickerson of Las Animas; one granddaughter, Jessica and husband, Charles Collett of Evaston, IL; sister, Zola Six of Las Animas, CO; brother, Roy and wife, Jetta Bourne of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters-in-law, Cleva Bourne of Las Animas, CO and Rosalie and husband, Jim Yett of Fowler, CO; along with nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Darius and Veda Bourne, Duane Bourne, Frank Bourne and Wanda (Bourne) Smith.
