Shirley F. Hasty…October 19, 1943 – June 18, 2014

A Memorial Service for longtime Lamar resident, Shirley F. Hasty will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Doug Manley of the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford officiating.

Per Shirley’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.

Shirley was born on October 19, 1943 at Oakland, California to Sterling Shirley and Bette Jane (Rose) Hunnicutt and passed away on June 18, 2014 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar at the age of 70.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Larry A. Hasty and her parents.

Shirley is survived by her son; Jerry (Nicole) Hasty of La Junta, CO, grandchildren; Branson Hasty and Kimberly Hasty both of North Platte, NE and Clayton Hasty of La Junta, CO. She is also survived by her brother; Edward Hunnicutt of La Junta, CO as well as other family and a host of friends.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Shirley F. Hasty Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.   Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
