Kenneth Gause…December 28, 1919 – June 27, 2014

A Celebration of Life for Lamar resident formally a longtime Rocky Ford resident, John Kenneth Gause will be held 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Kathy Leathers of the Holly United Methodist Church officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Rocky Ford Cemetery in Rocky Ford, Colorado.

Visitation for Ken will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Mr. Gause was born on December 28, 1919 at Rocky Ford, Colorado to John and Temperance Madelyn (Woods) Gause and passed away on June 27, 2014 at Juniper Village of Lamar at the age of 94.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred, his parents and his siblings; Velma Watson, Earl Gause, Eleanor Gause and Edwina Gause.

Kenneth is survived by his children Judy (John) Bingham of El Paso, TX, Jerry (Glenda) Gause of Houston, TX and Jane (Rick) May of Lamar. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Monica (Tim) Downing, Stephanie Gause, Kerry Gause, Michelle (Paul) Weddel, Robert (Melissa) May and Katie (Kevin) Smotherman as well as 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Juniper Village either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
