Charges Filed on Zavala Following Arrest

On Thursday, May 29, 2014, at approximately 8:00 PM, Lamar Police Officers received a call of a possible burglary in progress. The subject in this case was identified as Eric Zavala 21 of Lamar who had a felony warrant. Zavala fled officers escaping apprehension.
On Friday, May 30, 2014, at approximately 1:30 PM, officers observed Zavala in the 500 block of North 6th Street. Zavala was contained to a residence where he was arrested without incident for the felony warrant and obstruction. Zavala is held on two bonds for a total of $4,750 at Prowers County Jail.
