Three LCC Women’s Basketball Players Sign with 4-year University’s

(Lamar, Colorado; April 23, 2014) On April 16, 2014 three Lamar Community College Women’s Basketball Players signed letter of intents with 4-year University’s.
Sophomore Ellie Stevens, Australia, signed with NCAA Division I San Jose State University (CA). Stevens plans to major in Marketing.
Sophomore Keva Raiford, St.Louis, signed with NCAA Division II Angelo State University (TX). Raiford plans to major in Criminal Justice.
Freshman Alicia Gallagher, England, signed with NCAA Division II South Dakota School of Mines (SD). Gallagher has designated Geology as her major.
“Obviously, we’re very proud of Ellie, Keva, and Alicia. They are very deserving of the opportunity to continue playing basketball and earning their degree(s) at NCAA schools,” stated head coach Tom Sutherland. “These are high quality young ladies, and we’re very fortunate that they chose to attend LCC. What they have done for the basketball program cannot be overstated. We wish them success and happiness as they continue their respective journeys.”
