Hope Center 2nd Annual Chili Supper

Enjoying the Chili

Enjoying the Chili

The Partners for Hope Center held their 2nd Annual Chili Supper on Thursday January 30, 2014 at the Lincoln Elementary School. A great time was had by the kids and adults alike. There was chili, cookies, carrots & apples and drinks, a person got full.   The silent auction went very well, there were several items to choose from:  notebook & markers, gift certificates from local businesses, tee-shirts and many other items.

There was also a chance to enter into a drawing to win an $80 gift card from Walmart to purchase a new bike.   The winner of that drawing was Paola Cabrales. Congratulations!!!!

So many businesses and organizations donated items for the auction, food and paper products for the chili supper that it is hard to name them all.  Without everyone pitching in to help, the chili supper and Hope Center would not be able to offer good food and a good place to visit with neighbors.

The Hope Center appreciates everyone involved with the Center-the children, the teachers that volunteer their time, the different businesses and the help from the community.

If you have never been by the Hope Center please make a point to stop by and say “Thank you” to everyone there, they do so much for the kids.
