Arrest Warrants Reveals Drug Use

On 02/10/14 at approximately 9 pm Officers of the Lamar Police Department conducted a residence check for a wanted party in the 700 block of N. 10^th Street.

Richard Wayne Jones age 37, Destiny Hyatt age 24, and Cory Roberts age 23, all of Lamar were all located in the residence and arrested on outstanding arrest warrants.

All three subjects were transported to the Prowers County Jail where Jones and Hyatt are being held on No Bond warrants.  Roberts’ bond was set at $240 cash.

 Officers observed items indicating illegal drug use while at the residence and made application for a search warrant.  The search warrant was executed and items of drug paraphernalia and drugs were seized.  Additional charges are expected.
