Lamar Police Arrest Suspect on Multiple Charges

On Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at approximately 0717 (7:17am) hours, Lamar Police Officers responded to the 800 block South 9th Street, on a report of a male subject breaking out a window and entering a residence. Officer observed the suspect vehicle of Damien Sena 32 of Lamar, parked at the residence and had previous knowledge he had a felony warrant for his arrest.
It was reported Sena had assaulted an elderly female subject and threatened his child’s mother with a knife after knocking his son to the ground. Officers strategically positioned themselves at the residence and Sena fled on foot in a short foot pursuit where he was apprehended across the alleyway.
Sena was booked into Prowers County Jail on 1st degree burglary charges, child abuse, menacing with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and several other charges.
