Mitchell Trent LaCost…July 7, 1972 – November 3, 2013

Funeral services for longtime Denver resident and formerly of Lamar, Mitchell Trent LaCost will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Reverend Timothy Wheaton of the Mount Olive Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery. 

Visitation for Trent will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. 

Trent was born on July 7, 1972 at Lamar, Colorado to Eugene “Gene” and Shirley (Paulsen) LaCost and passed away unexpectedly while hiking at Bailey, Colorado on November 3, 2013 at the age of 41. 

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Lester and Freda LaCost, maternal grandparents; William and Dorothy Paulsen, Aunt Doris Hughes, Uncle Mark LaCost and his cousin Marc Hughes.  

Trent is survived by his parents; Gene and Shirley LaCost of Lamar, siblings; Cheryl (Mark) Smith of Pueblo, Cary (Kathy) LaCost of Lamar and Trevor (Kathleen) LaCost also of Lamar. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Megan and Sean, Anthony, Ashley, Heather, Austin, Kaitlyn and Christian, Great nephew; Damien Jaramillo and his longtime companion John Solano of Denver as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to ones charity of choice either directly or through the funeral home office. 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Peacock Funeral Home.
