Lamar Partnership Kicks-Off Plastic and E-Waste Recycling Program

(Lamar, Colorado; October 30, 2013) Lamar Partnership, Inc. will be launching a new plastic and e-waste recycling program in Lamar in an effort to contribute to Keep Lamar Beautiful. Starting November 9, 2013, simply purchase a recycling bag, fill it with your clean recyclables and drop it off. Electronic recycling will also be available on-site for a minimal fee.  The plastic and e-waste recycling center is located at Lamar Thriftway, 204 South 6th Street. It will be open every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10am-2pm.

Recycling saves energy, reduces landfills, preserves our resources, protects wildlife and is good for the economy. Make a difference in our community and choose to recycle. November 1-4, Lamar Partnership, Inc. will be giving away one recycling bag to the first 25 people! The recycling bag can be picked-up at the Colorado Welcome Center located at 109 Beech Street from 8am-5pm on those specified dates.
