Two Locals Arrested

On October 24, 2013 officers contacted Roman Gameros, 28, of Lamar, and Marco Enciso Jr, 29, of Hartman, in the 400 block of Sharon Drive after they were observed acting in a suspicious manner.
Gameros was removed from the vehicle after he attempted to hide a syringe from officers. Gameros was found to have two active warrants for his arrest. Gameros is being held at the Prowers County Jail on $710.00 any type bond and $148.00 cash only for the other warrant. Charges are pending for the syringe.
Enciso provide a fictitious name and date of birth. Officers located 2.2 grams of methamphetamine and other drug related items on Enciso’s person. Officers also located a .22 caliber Colt revolver on Enciso. It was also determined Enciso had an active parole warrant for his arrest.
Enciso is being held on no bond for the parole warrant and $50,000.00 for the other charges.
