Monsters, Mod-sters and Mobsters Hit the Streets for Moonlight Madness

Mark Thursday, October 24th for Moonlight Madness Magic Time around downtown Lamar, between 6pm and 8pm, highlighted this year by the Mystery Manikins. The windows of participating merchants will display live mannequins and customers can guess who’s who on the entry form Maze Map. The Map gives hints and names of popular personalities playing the game. Before you leave, hand in your answers and the winners of Halloween treat bags will be announced at noon at the Main and Olive Street intersection on Friday, October 25. Merchants should call the Lamar Chamber by October 15 if they intend to participate and supply a mannequin. The Chamber can also help you find a live body.

Shoppers can also win an Appreciation Treat Basket full of gifts, prizes and gift certificates, valued at over $300. You receive a registration slip for every $10 you spend in participating stores from Friday, October 18 through October 24. The name of that winner will also be announced on October 25th. 

Another feature for Moonlight Madness is the Wine and Cheese event at Shore Arts Center during the Southeast Colorado Art Show. You must be at least 21 years old to enjoy the wine beverages. The evening will feature entertainment and some bargains for the whole family.
