Tammy Lea DiRezza…July 18, 1957 – September 23, 2013

          Graveside Memorial Services for Las Animas, Colorado resident, Tammy DiRezza, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2013 at the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery.  Per Tammy’s request cremation has taken place.

          Tammy Lea DiRezza was born on July 18, 1957 in Denver, Colorado to David Nero and Mildred Dolores (Pilkington) DiRezza. She passed away on September 23, 2013 at Sangre de Cristo Hospice House in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 56.

          Tammy attended La Junta High School, graduating in 1975. After graduation she went on to obtain an Associate Arts Degree from Otero Junior College. She worked for several years as a Traffic Control Supervisor in Denver. She later moved back to Las Animas to be near her family.

          Tammy is survived by her father, Dave of Las Animas; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Katrena DiRezza of Las Animas; Niece’s Kendra and Kassidy; Nephew’s, Kain and Kody; other relatives and many friends.

          She is preceded in death by her mother, Dolores “DoDo” DiRezza on April 8, 2013.

          Memorial contributions may be made in Tammy’s name to Sangre de Cristo Hospice in care of Horber Funeral Chapel, PO Box 431, Las Animas, CO 81054.
