Benny Barton

Benny Barton, 58, of Bastrop, TX passed away August 25^th, 2013 in Kyle, TX. Benny was born to Earl and Lily Faye Barton in Archer City, TX. He was one of 8 children. Benny married Cathy Mitchell on February 19^th 1977.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings; Sharon Barton, Buddy Barton, and Albert Barton, as well as his granddaughter Diana Barton.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cathy Mitchell; his children, Kelly Vance, Jerod Barton, Michael Barton, and Crystal Barton; and his grandchildren; Jason Hopkins Jr., Shannon Hopkins, Slade Hopkins, Abigail Hopkins, Olivia Boxley, Gage Barton, Shawn Barton, and Gaberial Gurule. Benny is also survived by his siblings Sara, Carmen, J.J., David, and Linda, as well as many more nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Gathering of Family will be held Thursday August 29^th 2013 from 10am-3pm at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday August 29^th 2013 at 3pm at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home.
