Lamar Babe Ruth Softball 16U All-Stars Update

On behalf of the Lamar Babe Ruth Softball All-Star players, coaches, parents and the Lamar Babe Ruth Softball League we would like to thank the Lamar, Springfield, Granada communities and all surrounding areas for their support and donations as the team worked to raise money to travel the Wilson, NC, for the Babe Ruth Softball 16U World Series! Through hard work and generous donations, the team was able to reach their fundraising goals and are now looking ahead at representing our area in World Series tournament play! Thank you for all your support!

The Lamar Babe Ruth Softball 16U All-Stars will be leaving to the Babe Ruth World Series in Wilson, NC this Wednesday morning. They will be leaving DIA @7:20 am arriving @3:00 pm. World Series tournament play, consisting of 15 teams, will begin on Friday, August 2nd, with Lamar Babe Ruth All-Stars playing their first game at 12:30 pm against Pittsfield, MA and then again at 7:30 pm against the host team, Wilson County, NC.
