Robert D. Parker…October 4, 1944 – June 20, 2013

A Memorial Mass for longtime Lamar resident, Robert D. Parker will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at St. Francis De Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Charlie Sena as Celebrant. A Rosary Service will be held at 9:30 AM prior to the Mass also at the church with Deacon Allan Medina reciting. 

Robert or “Bob” as he was called by his family and friends, was born on October 4, 1944 at Trinidad, Colorado to Thomas and Catherine (Ossola) Parker and passed away at his home in  of Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the age of 68. 

Bob is survived by his wife Antoinette of the family home in Lamar. His children; Robbie Parker of Trinidad, John (Crystal) Parker and Tracy (Jason) Weisenhorn all of Lamar. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren; MacKenna, Jaelin, Jace, ShiAnn and MacKinzie as well as his siblings; Thomas Parker of Raton, NM, Isabelle (Doug) Barber of Wichita Falls, TX, Clover (Dale) Phau of Julesburg, CO, Diana Connell of Trinidad and Karen (Hal) Robb of Bangkok, Thailand. Numerous nieces, nephews other family and many friends also survive. 

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lamar Babe Ruth or to the Lamar Girls Softball either direct at Colorado East Bank and Trust or through the funeral home office.
