Comedy for a Cause

The Lamar Chamber of Commerce Honkers invite you to a night of excitement and laughter; the ever-popular comedy night returns to the Lamar Eagles Aerie on Friday, June 7^th, 2013!

Adam Vocke and Larry Lundstrom of 2 For the Road Entertainment out of Fort Morgan, CO are once again supplying the talent for a sensational night of stand-up comedy in Lamar, CO. Sam Tallent will headline the evening of comedic entertainment along with feature performer Kevin O’Brien. Larry (Moose) Lundstrom and Adam Vocke will MC and perform as well.

This night of hilarious entertainment is being brought to you by the Lamar Chamber Honkers and the Lamar Eagles Aerie. This fundraising event is primarily for two local charity organizations, the Southeast Colorado Cancer Initiative (SECCI) and The Remember Foundation. A portion of the proceeds will also be used to help fund a new PA system for the Lamar Chamber.  Donated funds to both of these non-profit organizations help support local people in our community who may be in need of medical treatment, help with transportation costs, counseling, etc. And the best part is, all of the money stays right here in Lamar!

The event will take place on Friday, June 7th starting at 7:30pm. Tickets for the event are only $10 each.  There is no guarantee that tickets will be available at the door, so be sure to purchase them in advance. Get your tickets early! There are only 200 tickets available and the last comedy show sold out 2 days before the event.

Immediately before the event, from 6:00-7:00pm, the Eagles will be serving a meal including a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and potato chips.  The dinner is sold separately by the Lamar Eagles and can be purchased that evening for only $8, which includes a complimentary drink.
