City of Lamar Sales Tax Report, March 2013

City of LamarTotal Sales and Use Tax Collections for the City of Lamar for this past March, 2013 were up slightly, at 1.24% for a gain of $3,849.63. Collections for March 2013 were $315,417.92 compared to last year at $311,568.29. Set alone, the city sales tax for March improved by 3.05%.

Year to date figures show a 3.99% gain for Total Sales and Use Tax Collections for a diffference of $46,218.01. YTD collections for 2013 are $1,205,468.88 for the first quarter of the year, compared to 2012 at $1,159,250.87.

Tax collection gains for year to date comparisons on the twelve retail trades categories were split at six up and six down.
