“OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS” for businesses in Southeastern Colorado

LA JUNTA — The Southern Colorado Economic Development District along with the Small Business Development Center in La Junta is sponsoring an “Opportunity Knocks” event for the business community in the counties of Southeastern Colorado. The event will be held on April 9, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the John Rawlings Museum, second floor at 560 Bent Ave. in Las Animas.

Representatives from the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Small Business Administration, USDA, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, Department of Local Affairs, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City/Denver Region and the Business Lending Center/SCEDD Development Company will be available to answer questions regarding funding programs, incentives and other issues affecting small businesses and community development.

This event is ideal for developers, entrepreneurs, economic development organizations, new businesses starting up, established businesses as well as businesses wanting to expand their operations. This event is FREE to everyone so mark your calendars and plan on attending this very informative event to have your questions answered by the people that have the answers.
