LCC Rodeo Team Updates

Lamar Community College sophomore Brooke Smith, from Wetmore, CO, placed 6th in barrel racing and 7th in break-away roping at the Colorado State University, Skyline Stampede Rodeo held March 28-30 in Fort Collins, CO.

The team also recently competed at the Eastern Wyoming College rodeo.  Freshmen Clint Buringa and Tucker White led Lamar Community College’s men’s team last weekend with a second place finish in team roping. Carter Coble was third and Jared Holman seventh in steer wrestling. Overall LCC’s men’s team finished second to the University of Wyoming. For the women’s team Brooke Smith split fourth and fifth place in goat tying.

The team will compete April 19-21 at the Casper College Rodeo.
