LCC’s Scott Crampton Picks Up 800th Win of His Coaching Career

(Lamar, Colorado; March 12, 2013) Lamar Community College is proud to announce Head Baseball Coach Scott Crampton picked up the 800th win of his coaching career with a 6-2 victory over Western Nebraska Community College on Friday, March 1, 2013. Crampton’s career total now stands at 804-334.
Since Crampton’s tenure, the Lopes have accrued eleven Empire Conference titles, nine Region IX titles, and had one World Series appearance (2002). During his 19 seasons, the Lopes have had three seasons with over 50 wins and eight seasons with over 40 wins.
157 sophomores have transferred on to play at four-year colleges or universities with 30 signing professionally. 18 players have been selected as All-Americans, while another 21 have earned Academic All-American honors and a total of 87 players have been selected First Team All-Region under Crampton’s direction.
