Annual Sky Warn Storm Spotters Class in Lamar April 2

 

 

Lamar, Colorado)  The National Weather Service, Pueblo and the Prowers County of Emergency Management invite you to our annual storm spotter class.  This is a free training presented by Thomas Magnuson, Warning Coordination Meteorologist, National Weather Service, Pueblo.

Participants receive information about the National Weather Service, when and how to report severe weather, the basics of thunderstorm development and storm structure and basic severe weather safety tips.  A typical session lasts between 1 1/2 hours and 2 hours. 

This years training will be held at the Lamar High School Auditorium, 1900 South 11th, on April 2nd and will begin at 6:30P.M.
