The Prowers County Farm Bureau and LCC Collegiate Farm Bureau Chapter will host a presentation on risk management for all farmers and ranchers in southeast Colorado. The workshop will be presented by Custom Ag Solutions, and will take audience members through a 45 minute long personal risk assessment to help them identify strengths and weaknesses in their agriculture operations and create their own personal risk profile to aide in making the best managerial decisions for their farms. Audiences will also be able to see how their risk preferences compare to those of other producers in their area.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 7pm at the Lamar Community College Bowman Building Lecture Hall, 2401 S. Main, Lamar. It is free and open to all producers in southwest Colorado. No RSVP necessary, but for more information contact Lori at (719) 480-0890. The Farm Bureau is a nonprofit organization made up of local agriculturalists.
