Waterfowl Hunting Seminar in Lamar

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will host a Waterfowl Hunting Seminar at the CPW office in Lamar on Sat., Feb. 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no cost to attend.

Wildlife managers will present tips and tricks for hunting snow geese and other waterfowl on the eastern plains of Colorado. Topics will range from the basics for beginners, to techniques for the seasoned hunter.

Subjects covered include duck and goose identification, waterfowl biology, how to hunt waterfowl by understanding their daily movements, how weather and terrain affect waterfowl, use of decoys and much more.

The program is geared toward adults.
