Free Workshop for Current and Prospective Small Business Owners

The La Junta Small Business Development Center will offer a FREE workshop Feb. 19, 2013, for current business owners or individuals who are interested in opening a small business. The workshop presenter will be Ms. Kim Grimsley, financial advisor for Edward Jones and former Otero Junior College business instructor.

The workshop entitled “The Entrepreneurial Equation” will teach strategies to help the business owner to save time, attract and retain employees and preserve the business for the owner and the owner’s heirs. In addition, attendees will learn other valuable business strategies.

The workshop will run from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the Trustees’ Building Room 114 at Lamar Community College, 2401 South Main Street in Lamar.

While there is no cost to attend, seating is limited, so please call Bill Dutro, Director of the Small Business Development Center at (719) 384-6959 to reserve a seat.
