Sandy L. Kilpatrick…May 24, 1937 – January 9, 2013

A Funeral Liturgy service for longtime Lamar resident, Sandy L. Kilpatrick will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday January 15, 2013at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar with Deacon Henry Wertin as the liturgist.  A private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date. 

Per Sandy’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. 

Sandy L. Kilpatrick was born on May 24, 1937 in Enid, Oklahoma to William and Mildred “Mimi” (Vosburg) Cunningham and departed this life on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at her home in Lamar with her family by her side at the age of 75. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband – Jerry E. Kilpatrick on July 8, 2012; and by one step-son – Carl Kilpatrick. 

Sandy is survived by three children – Tony (Joanna) Gruntmeir of Enid, Oklahoma; Tim (Cynthia) Gruntmeir of Pueblo, CO; and Teri Gruntmeir of Lamar; by four step-daughters – Edie Kilpatrick (Chris) of Seadrift, Texas; Donna (Marty) Ament of Gunnison, CO; Vicky (Clarence) Felzien of Pueblo, CO; and Mia (Dave) Oswald of Colorado Springs; by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; by one brother – Bill (Sue) Cunningham of Enid, OK; by two sisters – Cathie (David) Jones also of Enid and Sue (Terry) Ragoss of Hunter, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive. 

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
