Birds of a Feather Art Show

The Southeast Colorado Arts Council in conjunction with the High Plains Snow Goose Festival Committee will be hosting the “Birds of a Feather” Art Show starting Thursday, February 21, 2013. This art show will feature artwork from local artists and a special showing of paintings by Marie Whiting.

The three-day “Birds of a Feather” Art Show will be held at the Shore Arts Center on South Main Street in Lamar during the High Plains Snow Goose Festival on Thursday, February 21st and will conclude Saturday, February 22nd at 4pm. All area artists are invited to show and offer their work for sale free of any fees. A maximum of three pieces of artwork will be allowed per artist. Twenty percent of the proceeds from any sales will be used by the Southeast Colorado Arts Council to defray expenses and to support the Shore Arts Center.

The lower Arkansas Valley is rich with talented artists and programs. Your continued support will allow the Arts Council to continue to work and support local artists as well as those from outside the region and beyond. If you enjoy art, would like to learn more about the creative process, and would like to support the arts in southeast Colorado, please plan to attend the Southeast Colorado Arts Council’s, “Birds of a Feather” Art Show February 21 through the 23 this year.
