Retirement Celebration for Deputy Fire Chief Leonard Set for Jan. 3

Deputy Fire Chief Pat Leonard has served the citizens of Lamar and Prowers County for thirty-nine years as both a firefighter and an Emergency Medical Technician.  He has decided that it is now time to close this chapter in his life and move on to other adventures.  We have arranged a retirement party for him this coming Friday evening, January 3, 2014, at 6:30 pm at the Cultural Events Center.   

If you have a moment please feel free to join us in honoring Deputy Chief Leonard for his years of service and dedication to the Lamar and Prowers County community.  Snacks will be provided.  If you have any thoughts, stories or memories to share please feel free to do so.
