The Lamar Chamber of Commerce announced today that Paula Pfeiffer-Thornton will become the new office manager, replacing Chana Reed who will retire at the end of the year.
Paula grew up in Granada, Colorado and recently moved ‘home’ in May 2012 after traveling the states for the last 40 years. Paula received her Business Degree from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Following graduation, Paula moved to California. She became the Public Relations/Advertising Director for BF Goodrich and Larry Flynt Publications. After many years, Paula combined her publicity and marketing skills to join the Santa Monica Pier as the Media Relations Consultant. Once her contract expired with the Santa Monica Pier, she moved to Crested Butte, Colorado where she lived for three years before moving back to Lamar.
“I look forward to meeting the business leaders, reconnecting with old friends and meeting new friends in the community. The current Board of Directors for the Lamar Chamber have been very encouraging and I’m very excited to be selected as the new manager,” said Paula.
Paula is a huge Denver Broncos fan, enjoys visiting her daughter and granddaughter in California, reading and attending concerts.
Please join the Lamar Chamber of Commerce in welcoming Paula to her new role. We encourage all business members and the community to stop by and meet her. For more information, please call 719-336-4379 or www.lamarchamber.com.
