Public Invited to President’s Reception for Annual Two Shot Goose Hunt

It is that time of the year and a bit of a kick off for the holiday season. Hunters from across the United States will be arriving on Wed., Nov. 28 for three days to participate in sporting clays, upland hunt and goose hunt.
Wed. Nov. 28 is the President’s Reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Empire Room of the Lamar Cow Palace. The evening includes complimentary cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres; live and silent auction; and calcutta. The public is invited to attend but you must be at least 21 years of age. Some of the celebrities attending this is year are Ralph Tamm, NFL Superbowl Champ, Dave Studdard, former Denver Bronco and Tim Lollar, former Pitcher for the New York Yankees and San Diego Padres. There will be auction items for everyone, safari hunt, prints, shot guns, bronzes and knife sets just to mention a few.
The Two Shot Goose Hunt operates under the Southeast Colorado Two Shot & Wildlife Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) entity. For over 40 years the Two Shot has been sponsoring wildlife conservation projects in southeast Colorado. The majority of money raised from the President’s Reception is put aside for conservation as well as other local charities. Please come out and show your support for this great sporting event.
