Ivan Eugene Brenton…January 10, 1926 – November 11, 2012


                Ivan Eugene Brenton passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Sangre de Cristo Hospice House in Pueblo, Colorado, at the age of 86.  Per family’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

                Ivan was born on January 10, 1926 to Harry W. and Julia Mae (Greenwell) Brenton in Beaumont, Kansas.  He married Rosalee Pemberton on September 29, 1947.  To this union they had three children.  Ivan served in the Allied Occupation of Japan after WWII with the military police.

                He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Eugene Jay Brenton.

                Ivan is survived by his wife, Rosalee Brenton of La Junta, CO; daughter, Cristine and husband Daryle Lovett of Swink, CO; son, Joe Elton and wife Kathleen Brenton of Brush, CO; sister, Evelyn Garner of Eads, CO; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
