October Booksale Underway at Cultural Events Center

You know it’s turned fall when the semi annual Friends of the Lamar Library host their October Booksale at the Cultural Events Center in Lamar.

Thousands of titles in paperback and hardcover line the tables, ranging from such topics as mystery, general fiction, romance, history, self-help, cookbooks, science fiction, finance, kids books, autobiographies, religion and music and video cassettes.

Wednesday is always bargain day for the sale, as the four day event wraps up with books at a bargain.  You can fill a bag or a box for one low price from all the remaining titles.  The booksale kicks off each Sunday with a Friends, ‘membership’ sale, open to subscribers between 1pm and 5pm.
