The Friends of the Lamar Public Library, Inc. Is a 501 (c) 3 tax deductible organization. The semi-annual book sale starts this weekend. If you donate money or books you can ask for a receipt to credit toward your tax liability for the year.

Have books to donate, and no way to get them to the library? Call 336-4632. They can arrange for someone to come pick them up.

Remember, Sunday October 7 is Members Day. You can purchase your membership at the door to give you access to the best selection. Every purchase benefits the library. The Friends purchase items for the library and pay for special programs that the library budget cannot afford.
