The Maze is About 9 Feet Tall, All Around

Those big bales of hay in front of the First Baptist Church in Lamar weren’t dropped off by accident. They’re the essential ingredient into a hay maze, set up by the Youth Group at the church trough halloween.

The maze, which winds its way around the inner walls of the hay bales, may or may not give you a rise when you enter and start to find your way out. Be sure to dress warmly, the first weekend of operation, this past weekend was downright chilly and who knows how the weather for the next weekends in October will fare?

Here’s How the Sign Started Out at Robinson’s Printing

The price is right for some family fun, just $2 as the usual price, but Sunday admission is only $1 when you bring along a canned food item as a donation. There are some prizes in store and possibly some surprises as well. Admission is set for each Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 28, between 5p and 8pm.
