Helga Christina Canady…September 26, 1957 – October 8, 2012

A Funeral Liturgy for Lamar resident Helga Christina Canady will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, October 12, 2012 with Deacon Henry Wertin officiating. A rosary service will be held prior to the Funeral Liturgy at 9:30AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM at the Peacock Family Chapel. 

Helga was born on September 26, 1957 at Gube Messel, Darmstadt, Germany to Robert Enst and Ursula Anna (Cort) Thiele and passed away at her home in Lamar with her family by her side on October 8, 2012 at the age of 55. 

Ms. Canady is preceded in death by her son Munfred Thiele, granddaughter; Dominique DL. Plummer, her parents and her grandmother; Oma Veronika Kilione. 

She is survived by her husband; David M. Canady, Sr., children; David (Ann) Canady, Jr. of Washington DC, Nancy (Brian) Canady-Berger of Independence, MO and Charles (Sandy) Clayborn-Canady, St. Cloud, FL, grandchildren; Mike, Anya, Zack, Veronika, Chloe, Tommy, Ravin and Stephanie. She is also survived by her siblings; Ursula (Joe) Hart of Biloxi, MS, Erika Riemondy, Germany, Anita Thiele, Robert Thiele and Nobert Thiele; Aunt Ckristel (John) Ackerman all of Germany as well as many friends including Juanita Gonzales, Gail Duarte, Alfred Duarte and Mary Ring all of Lamar.
