Police Announcement Re: Campaign Signs

RE: Campaign Signs: 

We are approaching the election season and there are several campaign signs posted around our area.  The Lamar Police Department would like to remind citizens that defacing or taking the signs is prohibited by law.  A person who is caught destroying or defacing the signs will be cited or arrested for criminal mischief.  A person who is caught taking the signs will be cited or arrested for theft.
