Frontier Telephone Company, Inc. has been doing business in Lamar and surrounding communities since 1984.

Gary and Sheri started Frontier Telephone July 1, 1984. Gary worked for Mt. Bell and AT&T previous to 1984. Sheri worked for Jagers Alfalfa. Over the last 28 years, Frontier has had two very valuable employees.

Jack Coplen retired a couple of years ago. Jack retired from Mt. Bell. Mike Marinac is currently employed and has been with us since 1999. Mike is a retiree from Safeway Stores.

Frontier Telephone has installed telephone systems in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. We have installed systems in Motels, Hospitals, schools, retail businesses, and Government offices.

Frontier Telephone is capable of installing systems from one line to 240 lines and up to 324 extensions. We also install computer network wiring; this includes Category 5 or 6 wire as well as fiber optic cable.

Frontier Telephone’s policy is to take care of trouble first. When you’re our customer you’ll appreciate our quick response to your communication problems. We try to respond within two hours or less after being notified.

Frontier Telephone is knowledgeable in network wiring, paging systems, and fiber optic cable.

We have had the opportunity to relocate to the big cities and probably increase our business, but we value the people of Lamar, and surrounding areas. You are more valuable to us than a few bucks. We would like to thank our many customers for their business over the last 28 years.
