Two Car Crash Slows Main Street Traffic

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Main Street and Olive Street in Lamar, between 2pm and 3pm on Tuesday, August 21.

Lamar Officers, fire department and ambulance personnel responded to the intersection and traffic was directed while the debris from the fender bender was being cleared and officers conducted an investigation of the incident. Officers found vehicle one to have $1500.00 damage and vehicle two to have $1000.00 damage.

Officer Checks Front Fender Damage to One of the Vehicles

Driver of vehicle one was cited and released.  There were no reports of injuries and the site was cleared in under an hour.
