New Beginnings – The Music of David Heck

The Southeast Colorado Concert Association, Southeast Colorado Ars Council and the Arkansas Valley Wind & Percussion Ensemble are proud to present New Beginnings-The Music of David Heck. The concert will be held on Sunday, August 12 at 2pm at the Lamar High School Auditorium. Tickets will be sold at the door for those who haven’t purchased season tickets to the concert series. David will feature many of his own compositions including classical and pop music. David is the oldest son of David & Linda Heck and has studied music within the Lamar School District and the University of Denver. Accomplishments include his position as Director of Music at the Lakewood United Methodist Church since 1999 and his teaching music within Denver Public Schools . David has many of his works published at “What The Heck Press” and his music is available on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and cdBaby. He currently lives in Denver with his wife Elisha, his son Daniel and step children Alexandra and Isaiah. Do not miss this special opportunity to kick off the 2012-2013 Concert Series with a special premier of the “Prowers Grand March” commissioned by Curtis West for the Arkansas Valley Wind & Percussion Ensemble concert band.
