The Prowers Medical Center Board of Directors will meet in regular session, Wednesday, July 25 at 7pm. The agenda includes several legal matters including proposed by-laws that have been reviewed by current and new board members as well as an oil and gas lease which will be reviewed by hospital attorney, John Lefferdink with board members.
Interim Chief Executive Officer, Craig Loveless, will brief board members on updated policies regarding the hospital’s Educational Financial Assistance program. He will also discuss a High Plains Community Health Center Federal Grant, Letter of Support which was recently approved by the Prowers County
Commissioners. In other action, newly hired Chief Clinical Officer, Donna Walker, will be introduced to the general public at the meeting. Walker was hired in early July as a replacement for Maxine Montano in the Clinical Officer position.
The PMC board meeting will be open to the public with a work session at 6pm in place of a usual executive session. Several of the new board members and current members opted to reduce the number of executive sessions which had usually preceded the regular monthly meeting. The 6pm work session will focus on hospital strategic planning
