Orientation Classes/Business Expo Held at LCC for Fall Semester

Bowman Building Hallway is Filled with Orientation Students at LCC

Some one hundred college freshman, transfer students and family members were on the Lamar Community College campus Monday, July 23 for new student orientation classes for the fall semester.  Several Lamar area businesses were on hand as well, promoting their operation to prospective, future customers and acquainting them with the Lamar retail sector.

Some Local Business Vendors Displayed their Products for LCC Students

LCC offered the opportunity to set up a free display table for local merchants to advertise their goods or services during the Monday orientation day.  A similar orientation and retail display will be held on August 17 from noon to 1pm at the LCC Wellness Center.  Businesses can attend one or both events at no charge.

Those who wish to set up a display should contact Brenda Brown at LCC at 719-336-1580 or online at brenda.brown@lamarcc.edu.
