The Lamarlins Swim Team participated in the Southeast Colorado Aquatics League Championship Meet this weekend at Pueblo County High School. Several swimmers won the high points award in their age category. Ruger Stocking won the boys 13-14 high point award, Taylor Wertz won the girls open age group and Josh Schemahorn won the boys open category.
Other swimmers placed in the top three of their age group – Treven Wertz, 2nd in 11-12, Brock Murphy, 3rd, 11-12, Savannah Tice 3rd, 13-14 and Ben Ludwig 3rd in open category.
Mark Siemsen won the SECAL Coach of the Year for his exemplary work with swimmers of all ages.
The Lamarlins Swim Team took second place overall in their division.
