Cinco de Mayo Set for Saturday at North Side Park

Fair skies are forecast for this Saturday when area residents enjoy the activities planned for the Cinco de Mayo celebration at North Side Park in Lamar.
Booths and vendors will be on hand from 10am to 5pm, featuring free inflatable games/rides for kids, with DJ Manual Vazquez providing music through the day. Voces Unidas extends an invitation to enjoy an evening of great food at the Lamar Eagles Lodge on Friday, May 4. The Voces Unidas committee, led by Aaron Hope, will serve you a traditional homemade Mexican dinner, featuring chicken fajitas, rice/beans and sopapillas for only $10 per person. Servings start at 5pm.
Danza Azteca Tonantzin 1:30 – 2:00 pm & 3:30 – 4:00 pm and they will also preform at the Roadway Inn/Cow Palace at 5:30 pm
Dorothy Pascua will be sing Marchia at 12:15 to 1:15 and 2:15 to 3:15 pm
