Daniel J. Ledesma…October 28, 1955 – April 8, 2012

Funeral services for Syracuse, KS resident and former Granada, CO, Johnson, KS, and Lovington, NM farm laborer, Daniel Jose Ledesma will be held at 10:00 A.M.  Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado, Pastor Omar Licon will officiate and burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery, Holly, Colorado.        

            Visitation for Daniel will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.  Tuesday, April 7, 2012 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado. A scripture service to follow.

            Daniel was born October 28, 1955 in Pecos, TX and departed this life Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Seasons of Life Living Center in Syracuse, KS at the age of 56.

            He was preceded in death by his parents Leon Ledesma of Dexter, NM and Balbina Longoria of Granada, CO, a brother Pete Ledesma of Dexter, NM, a sister Mary Ortiz of Hobbs NM, and a son Christopher Ledesma of Granada, CO.

            Daniel is survived by his children, Maria Ledesma of McAuther, CA, Bobby Ledesma of Santa Rosa, NM  Johnathon (Myra) Ledesma of Roswell, NM, Stephanie (LeRoy) Ledesma of Roswell, NM, Timothy Ledesma of Roswell, NM, Gustavo Ledesma of Lubbock, TX, one brother Alberto Ledesma of Johnson, KS, sisters Ester Morales of Carlsbad, NM, Retta (Jose) Pizarro of Lamar, CO, Rosie (Eleuterio) Vega of Johnson, KS, Yolanda Rios of Dalhart, TX, and Connie (Rumaldo) Vega of Granada, CO, and three grandchildren.
