James Ellet & Seth Barber Sign Letters of Intent for LCC Rodeo

James Ellet (left) and Seth Barber sit with Lamar Community College Rodeo Coach Fred Sherwood to sign their letters of intent to rodeo at LCC this fall.  James will graduate from Mesalands Community College (Tucumcari, NM) this spring with a Wind Tech degree and will pursue an Associate of Arts in Business.  Seth, a 2011 Logan (NM) High School graduate, will enter the Horse Training & Management program.  “James is currently seventh in Steer Wrestling in the Grand Canyon Region and also team ropes.  Seth is the 2007 Bull Riding Champion and 2008 Team Roping – Heeling Champion for the High Plains Junior Rodeo Association and also ropes calves,” commented Fred, “both are focused and mature.  They should help our team next year.”
