The Lamar Public Works Department and the Lamar Fire Department will be burning the Willow Creek Drainage from the area near the Lamar Swimming Pool east towards East Parmenter and then out toward Clay Creek to the east of Lamar.
Weather permitting, the burn will begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Thursday March 15th and may continue for several days. This prescribed burn is being conducted to remove as much debris as possible from the drainage area prior to the rains of spring and early summer.
Please contact Public Works Director Pat Mason at 336-2002 or Fire Chief Marshall Cook at 336-4321 if you have questions or concerns.
